I'm wearing a traditional Religious Hijab from the Muslim culture. No I am not Muslim (Devout Christian), but I just adore their pretty veils :) This is the form of hijab called 'Niqab'. It covers past the nose :aww:
Muslim's wear this as protection, so I named this 'safety first'

The mosaic effect is startling and beautiful. The veil is unusual in that I am accustomed to only seeing them in black. The eyes are wide and that makes them appealing. The background color harmonizes with the veil.

Yeah, I choose green because I simply adore green. My eyes I kept wide so that they could be seen :XD: so luckily they were able to come out in the picture! I actually wanted to bring the veil into modern American life again,so that Americans can see how beautiful they can be. But it's kind of hard since I was, before, in and out of Islam... But now I've found my place, and I'm happy :) and I'm trying to teach people to respect each other. :aww:

Ehh, it's not only for protection. That's only part of it, and only for some women. There are a variety of reasons for the veil.
